FileZilla is a free desktop application used to connect to a website’s files using FTP or FTPS.
✅ It is not a plugin or feature inside Plesk
❌ You do not download FileZilla in Plesk
❌ FileZilla is not needed by agents — it’s for the customer

📂 How FileZilla Connects to Plesk
Let’s say the customer’s domain is: firstday.ca
Once hosting is set up on our Plesk server (canada6.rebel.com), the customer can connect using these settings:
✅ Basic FTP Settings (for agents to give out):

🛠 Where Agents Find the Info (in Plesk)
- Go to Websites & Domains → FTP Access
- Check or add FTP users
- Confirm user’s username and set/reset password
- Confirm the hosting server:
- For example:
canada6.rebel.com→ IP:35.182.184.239
- For example:
- Suggest DNS record if needed:
ftp.firstday.ca. CNAME firstday.ca.

Tell the customer to fill out the top row in FileZilla:
Host: canada6.rebel.com
Username: (FTP username)
Password: (FTP password)
Port: 21
Then click Quickconnect.
✅ This works even if their domain hasn’t propagated yet.
